The Way of Shadows, Brent Weeks. This book is the first in The Night Angel Trilogy. I picked up the first book in the night angel series and read it. I did not believe that the series could possibly get any better. Usually I'll give an overall ranking here in the first Post of an overall series, and then the books inside that series are ranked compared to Beyond the Shadows by Brent Weeks 05. I need to get back to work on this series. General Plot: The third (and last) book in Weeks' Night Angel Trilogy, Kylar Stern, the immortal Night Angel, has fought so many times for the good of his country that he is beginning to fear his powers. Loved it… by the time i got to Beyond the Shadows I was sold!
